Classifications of sentence on the basis of structure.

1. Simple Sentence:  Contains only one independent clause.

            Example:- The governmet provided money to people.

2. Complex Sentence:- Contains one independent clause and one or more dependent clause.
            Example:- Though he is poor, he is honest.


3. Compound Sentence: Contains more than one independent clause.
            Example:- He is poor but he is honest.
